Dear Parent/Guardian,

Re: The School Access Road.

The Council’s contractor, Murrill Construction, are about to begin work on improvements to the
school access road that leads from Lady Margaret Rd to the main entrance of the school premises.

We hope that these works will result in a more pleasant access road that is safer for our students,
parents and guests to use, reduced problems with flooding and significantly improved signage so that
it is far easier for visitors to locate the school.

We are told that these works will be completed between Saturday 13th March and Sunday 18th April.
We are reassured that disruption will be minimised and that access to the school will be maintained
but that there will be some difficulties at weekends and during the Easter holidays. If your son or
daughter is involved in any additional revision classes during the weekends or during the school
holiday, then please ask him or her to enter and leave the school using the gate on Ruislip Road.

May we also ask that parents do not drive along the access road, to drop off or pick up children,
while the work is being carried out and that parents talk to their children about the need to stay
as far away as possible from the construction site.

May I take this opportunity to apologise for any inconvenience caused during this time.

                  Yours sincerely,
