In 2005 Greenford High School became an Associate member of the Creative Partnerships network. Over a period of three years smaller but very successful projects that allowed pupils to work alongside their parents, staff, other schools and creative practioners were run.
More recently Greenford High School was awarded ‘Change School’ status. This will allow a larger number of pupils, staff and practioners to work collaboratively in cross curricular projects.
Stay posted for further developments.

To see the collaborative work undertaken, view "The View from UB2" The View from UB2 is a collection of visuals, videos and sound works exploring the history and community of Southall. Over the course of ten workshops led by no.w.here (www.no-w-here.org.uk) artists, James Holcombe and Rehana Zaman, year 8 students at Greenford High School were encouraged to rediscover Southall through a number of unusual techniques; mapping with film, capturing music and sounds from the area, recording personal and public stories, and visualising memories through experimental print works. |
