Mental Health Awareness Week

Ealing Council have provided Ealing schools and families with a range of materials to help maintain our mental wellbeing in such difficult times.

The resources coincide with Mental Health Awareness Week which is designed to raise awareness of mental health and inspire action to promote the message of good mental health for all.

The theme of Mental Health Awareness Week is kindness. Kindness means doing a good deed for someone else, and you can also be kind to yourself. Kindness brings people together and can make us all feel better. This week, we’re asking students to think about how they can be kind to their family, people in their neighbourhood, and of course themselves.

The Secondary School guide to wellbeing and support during Covid-19 has been created by Ealing Mental Health Support Team and contains advice and links for young people and parents and carers. It contains sections on special educational needs, bereavement and additional local support services.
