January lockdown and remote learning

Following the government’s announcement of a further lockdown, all schools will be closed to most students until further notice.

This means all students, apart from vulnerable children or the children of critical workers, should remain at home until further notice, in line with government guidance. We will provide remote learning to students, through a combination of live and recorded lessons and work set on Google Classroom. Remote teaching will begin from Wednesday 6 January, as we have an INSET day scheduled for Tuesday 5 January.

If your child is vulnerable and/or you are considered a keyworker, you will need to let us know if you wish for your child to come to school by emailing us at keystudents@greenford.ealing.sch.uk.

Headteacher Mia Pye has written to parents and carers with full details regarding the school closure including vulnerable children and keyworker provision, remote learning and the procedure for free school meals. The letter can be found attached below.

We thank all of our families, students and staff for their efforts and perseverance at this difficult time and look forward to welcoming students back to school as soon as we are able to.
