Greenford Read is based on the highly successful City Read project that aims to turn the whole of London into a book group. Inspired by this, we are planning three Greenford Read projects this year aimed at years 9, 12 and 7 respectively.

Our first Greenford Read is for Year 9 and is The Art of Being Normal by Lisa Williamson. This award-winning book explores issues of gender and identity alongside the pressures of high school life. 

We are asking all Year 9 students to read the book and take part in the discussions and events that will follow. Parents can pay for the book via  Parent Pay and copies of the book are also available in our library.
