STUDENT EXPERIENCE

At GHS, we believe that Post 16 education is about more than just your A Level or BTEC qualifications. It is a transformative period designed to help you discover your personality, your passions, and your purpose in the world.

At GHS, we work to provide all of our students with the skills, aptitudes, and strength of character to meet the challenges of life beyond Greenford. We want our students to enjoy their education and develop into responsible, caring, and tolerant citizens that contribute to society.

Architects of Your Own Future

We provide the platform; you provide the ambition. Whether you are a budding politician or a future engineer, our enrichment program is designed to build your 'cultural capital' and resilience. At GHS, you will be exposed to a wide range of opportunities and experiences that will develop and challenge you. You will be encouraged to develop the skills that will set you apart from the competition and will be sought after by universities and employers alike.

What kind of Post 16 student will you be?

  • The Change-maker: Join our Post 16 Leadership program or the Debate Club to hone the communication skills needed for law and politics.

  • The Explorer: Take your learning on the road with theatre trips, art gallery visits, and the Duke of Edinburgh Award.

  • The Expert: Deepen your subject knowledge through membership of Med Soc, the English Society, or the STEM Go-Kart project.

  • The Mentor: Give back to the GHS community through literacy support and peer tutoring, proving you have the empathy and patience to lead others.

  • The Athlete: Sharpen your competition skills by representing the Post 16 football or basketball team or, if you prefer a more gentle or social approach to staying fit, join our popular badminton or netball clubs.

If you don’t see what you’re looking for? Start it. We empower our students to launch their own clubs - if you have the passion, we have the resources to support you.
