Transfer from Primary School to High School at 11+
The local authority, London Borough of Ealing, administers the Co-ordinated High School Admissions Scheme. Applications for transfer from primary school to high school should be made on the common application form by the published closing date. Full details of how to apply for a school place, including when and how applications should be submitted and how to complete an online application can be found on the Ealing Council website.
The school prioritises all applications according to the school’s Admissions Policy. Offers are made by Ealing at the beginning of March.
If you live outside Ealing borough applications should be made via your local authority.
The timetable for September 2023 Year 7 admissions is as follows:
- Final Closing Date: 31st October 2022
- Offer Date: 1st March 2023
Admission Appeals
Admission Appeals for September 2023 will be held on 16th, 17th and 18th May 2023. The deadline for appeal applications to be submitted is Friday 31st March 2023.
Parents/carers applying to the school should note that:
- Greenford High is a Foundation school and not a Local Authority maintained school
- Appeals are heard by an Independent Appeals Panel
- The Headteacher and Governors are not involved in the appeals process at any stage, apart from agreeing the admissions policy and consulting with the community about it years in advance.

In-Year Admission Applications
Applications made at any other times of the year should be made directly to Ealing. An online In-Year Admission Application Form should be completed.
