To help families get their bikes ready for summer, Ealing Council are running Dr Bike sessions in the area. A professional bike mechanic will check bikes to make sure they’re roadworthy, and make small adjustments and repairs if necessary, such as tuning gears, adjusting brakes or pumping tyres.

Dr Bike sessions will be running in the area every 3^rd Saturday of the month, starting on 19 July.

• 9am to midday – Northala café, at the start of Parkrun
• 1pm to 4pm – Horsenden Farm, Perivale

They will also be able to advise and refer families to a bike shop for anything more serious that cannot be fixed there and then.

You don’t need to book, just turn up at the location with your bike and Dr Bike will take a look.
