GHS Celebrates A Level and BTEC Results

Best ever Post 16 results at GHS!

Greenford High School is delighted to report its best ever Post 16 exam results. An incredible 33% of A level results were A*-A; with 60% graded at A*-B. This is an outstanding achievement for such a large Post 16 centre with 236 students taking exams this year.

Whilst all of our students have done extremely well, there have been some notably exceptional achievements with 34 students achieving straight As/ A*s in their A Levels, and 38 students achieving at least triple Distinction in BTEC.

Almost 50% of our 100 A level Maths students achieved A* or A, along with 71% achieving the top grades in Further Maths. 40% of grades were awarded at  A* or A in Computing and 42% of grades awarded at A*or A in History. Over a third of grades in Physics were A*or A.

Similarly, we achieved exceptional BTEC results, with Kalthum Hamume, Julia Kowalska, Lamees Al Sha’ar, Gurkirat Bhachoo, Aisha Hussien and Aishpreet Panesar all achieving triple Distinction*.

As always, our students will be heading off to top university destinations, including The University of Oxford, Imperial College London, UCL, LSE and the full range of Russell Group universities to study a wide range of academic courses.

Headteacher, Mia Pye, said “Once again, Greenford High School students have achieved exceptional results, and I am delighted but not surprised, that these are our best ever results. I am immensely proud of each and every student for all of their hard work and focus throughout their 2 years of study at Post 16.”

Greenford High School wishes all of our Post 16 students the very best in the next stage of their education.
