As Headteacher, I am extremely proud of the many things that combine to make Greenford High School such a special place. As a truly comprehensive school, we have limitless ambition for all, with a mission to ensure that all pupils, whatever their starting points, are empowered to achieve well, enjoy learning to the full and experience a deep sense of belonging to our community. 

Greenford High School is a dynamic yet disciplined place to learn. We consistently achieve outcomes that place us in the top tiers for student progress. This year, we have been recognised for our exceptional outcomes for disadvantaged pupils by the Rt Hon Bridget Phillipson, who reminded us in her letter that our performance ‘is among the very best nationally.’ Overcoming disadvantage through our highly inclusive approach is central to all that we do. 

Our curriculum is ambitious, wide and varied, allowing pupils to pursue their own interests fully, and we also ensure that the wider enrichment experiences we offer pupils are exceptional. 

Our facilities are superb with a university campus-style layout, extensive IT facilities, large, expansive playing fields and a purpose-built block for Year 7. We also have one of the largest Post-16 Centres in London with designated study and support areas. Our staff are true teaching experts and continue to develop further through our collaborative CPD programme and networks.  

Ultimately, what makes our school special is not the buildings or facilities but our desire to keep on improving and our commitment to always putting our pupils above anything else.
