School Day
Our Post 16 environment and timetable is designed to bridge the gap between school and university. We provide the facilities and structure necessary for students to develop the independent study habits required for long-term success.
Form Time
Every student begins their day with Form Time (8:35 am – 8:55 am). This daily session is a vital part of our community, ensuring students are well-informed, supported by their tutors, and prepared for the academic day ahead.
Dedicated Study Spaces
When not in timetabled lessons, students are expected to manage their time effectively in our specialist Post 16 areas:
-
The Post 16 Learning Resource Area (LRA): A flagship facility designed for focused, silent study. With a capacity for 120 students, this area is fully supervised to ensure an environment of absolute academic rigour.
-
The Common Room: A more flexible space curated for group work, collaborative projects, and peer-to-peer discussion.
