As Headteacher, I am extremely proud of the many things that combine to make Greenford High School such a special place. Our motto, ‘Learning to Succeed’, encapsulates our vision; we are all on a continuous journey of learning, whilst trying to achieve success in everything that we do.
Work for Monday's Year 7 lessons will be available on Google Classroom. Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience this causes and we hope that you understand that this situation is outside of our control.
We are aware that many of our students and families have also been affected by the power cut and we wish them the very best in restoring their homes to normal when power returns.
The electricity company has been working to restore power for all of Sunday but unfortunately there is significant damage to systems including lighting and hot water.
Year 8 students can return to school as normal as their lessons are on the main school site and those buildings are unaffected by the power cut.
POWER CUT UPDATE: Following the major power cut that has hit parts of Greenford in recent days, our i-Block building is still not fully operational and therefore Year 7 students will need to stay at home on Monday 28 September.
