School closure

In the event of an unavoidable school closure, we are committed to providing students with work, useful links and other resources to ensure learning can continue.

Where possible, students should complete work following their regular school timetable which is available in their contact book. There are also a huge number of additional learning opportunities online that go beyond classroom work such as Speakers for Schools online talks from some of the leading names in business, the arts and academia. The government has also provided a comprehensive list of online resources for learning from home.

We expect students to check their school email at least twice a day and ask parents to supervise this where possible and ensure that work is being completed. Students are able to contact their teachers using their school email but please note note that email cannot be used to send large attachments or files.

Many subjects use Google Classroom, blogs or other e-learning platforms and details can be found in the links for each year group. We've also created a student guide to Google Classroom. Students will need to log in to their Greenford Google account which is their normal username and password used to log in to computers in school.

Work and resources for each year group can be found using the following links:

Students who do not have internet access or a device to complete work should contact the school and inform us of this. Students are also encouraged to read fiction or non-fiction material daily.
